Heather R. Barnett became a paralegal in 2002 after obtaining her degree in Paralegal Studies. She graduated summa cum laude from Neumann University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in Psychology. In addition to her degrees, Heather has 16 years of experience in the field of family law and is also a Notary Public. Heather completed mediation training and is certified to assist parties in resolving their family law matters without the need for costly litigation. Her vast experience enables her to reach amicable, mutually beneficial settlements.
Heather is also a member of the Delaware County Paralegal Association and the Statewide Paralegal Association, Keystone Alliance. As a member of the Delaware County Paralegal Association, Heather has taken a very active role in the Association’s function and administration. She served on the Association’s Board of Directors. In addition to her service on the Association’s Board of Directors, Heather was elected Membership Chairperson in 2015. Furthermore, Heather is listed as a contributing author to the Delaware County Paralegal Express Newsletter, writing various articles on the subject of family law.
Heather was also elected to a panel to serve as a guest lecturer to the Delaware County Community College Paralegal Studies Program students on the subject of family law.
